The internal dimensions of an open concrete tank are 1.89m long, 0.77 m wide and 1.23 m high. Find the capacity of the tank in litres. If the concrete side walls of the tank are 0.1m thick, find also, in cubic metres, the volume of concrete used. Give all answers correct to 3 significant figures.

Find the area of a field measuring 28.99 m by 32.76 m. What is the cost of spraying insecticide on this field if the cost is $25.50 per square meter? Give all answers correct to 4 significant figures.

A rectangular tank, 7.41 cm by 8.52 cm is completely filled with oil. Find
(a) the volume of oil in the rectangular tank,
(b) the length of the side of a cubical tank if the oil is to be stored in cubical tank.
